day 19 - best breakup: tallie grey/wes chandar (wellies)

this choice was obvious for me. i can’t even begin to explain what the breakup of these two characters is like for me emotionally. i’ve been a diehard wellies fan for the longest time and it was so painful to see them break up, and i felt especially guilty because of it since my character was part of the plot that caused it to happen. the entire scene was one of the most emotional ones i’ve read in hf so far and i honestly teared up at it. there’s no way not to. i think the betrayal and cheating aspect was such an original idea and it only made this breakup that much harder to go through. i just want to applaud jenny and shar for the beautiful writing they did during this scene, which i’m sure was one of the toughest moments to scene, because the way they brought their characters and those emotions to life is honestly what makes this breakup so tragic. the connection to the characters and how much you know wes and tallie care about each other is just so plain to see in the scene and i still have trouble when bringing myself to re-read it. i just… i need to stop, because i know i could go on forever.

day 18 - favorite friendship: roxanne weasley/abbey diaz/chase spencer/wes chandar (gryffinfour)

yeah there was really no way i couldn’t pick these four. i just adore how strong the bond is with all of them and that they are so bad ass and fun when they’re together but at the same time they also care about each other and know each other so well. i feel like each friendship within the gryffinfour has their own dynamic and each character brings their own ~element~. i especially love how diverse they are in general, in personality and looks, but they somehow just came together :’) and seriously they just LOOK like they’ve been friends for life. i literally cannot express how much i love them. this friendship really just fell from the sky into our laps and i feel so lucky to be a part of this amazing group with keri, jenny, and shar <33333

day 17 - a character you want to see more of: celeste fabre & roxanne weasley

while i love all the characters in hf, i really couldn’t resist picking these two ladies. i will shamelessly admit i adore jenny’s writing and honestly would just love to read more of it. but more importantly, i am a huge fan of these characters. i believe they have some of the most unique and original personalities in hf. anytime i see them in scenes it’s so ~refreshing~ and interesting to read. so i’d really love to get a chance to see them grow more in the game because they’re too good to hide themselves away. ;D

day 16 - a pairing you cannot stand: rose weasley/basil bristow (razzle)

all right, well, i felt guilty with any choice since the theme of the day is so ~vehement~ but this was the ship that came the closest to fitting the bill for me. i just feel like the whole idea itself is kind of tired. after choxanne and bridal, the best friends falling for each other bit has been played from every possible angle. not to mention, i’m a fan of rose/score and wouldn’t want them broken up. and i just didn’t see them happening plausibly in the game, since basil kissing rose seemed to be yet another instance where the plot is simply repeating what other characters have already done. these two characters individually are fantastic, as is their friendship, but i just really don’t like them together romantically at all.

day 15 - favorite male character: chase spencer

surprisingly, this choice was really easy. i just kinda sorta fell in love with chase right away. he’s such a sweet, caring, funny, open person and i feel like i can relate to him and empathize with him. yeah, he can be naive sometimes too but i feel like that just adds to what makes him so endearing. it’s not hard for him to steal your heart i think. he’s just a really laidback guy and knows how to have fun and is such a good friend and has such a good heart and i could go on. :x he’s just amazing and keri writes him brilliantly :’)

day 14 - favorite female character: dominique weasley

like usual i was torn between a few choices especially since there are so many fantastic ladies in hf, but in the end, dom won hands down for me. i’ve been a pretty big dom fan from the moment i read her bio in the beginning of hf. the originality and creativity really blew me away, since it’s so easy to get stereotypical when it comes to veelas. i love that she’s confident, ambitious, and independent and in general, just such a strong character. i really respect her, especially because at the same time she has this compassion and this beautiful heart that she just doesn’t necessarily show to everyone. it’s been amazing seeing her grow over season one of hf and everything she’s working through now with thomas and i just ADORE her. there’s no other way to put it. you’ve done a marvelous job with her shar <33333

day 13 - best omg wtf? moment: riley blaming tallie for her kidnapping

this was a tough choice because i was veeeeery tempted to choose tallie finding out her parents were behind all the experiments and kidnappings. that came as such a HUGE surprise to me but i think this was even bigger. i really loved riley and tallie’s growing friendship over the year and i was in shock when their argument in the library happened. when riley is usually so reserved, she was suddenly very fierce and angry and i was really not expecting it. and tallie didn’t simply let her get away with it but fought back and the way their friendship suddenly turned into this heated argument was huuuuge for me. i remember being hooked reading this scene the first time especially since i adore arguments in scenes. though tallie’s parents being the bad guys was surprising, i think getting to see the reactions like riley’s was even better so this easily took the top spot for me on omg moments.

day 12 - favorite kiss: the gryffinfour at new year’s

this only happened just recently but i couldn’t help from picking it. i couldn’t even narrow it down to simply chase and roxanne or wes and abbey, because i honestly loved the way all four of them were together when each of their new year’s kisses happened. i really just adore that abbey and rox were the ones to initiate the kiss with the boys and that they completely disregarded the fact that they were in public and it was ~passionate~ and emotional. i think it really just proves why i love these two ships so much individually and for the friendship that they are a part of. and i believe it shows how much each couple truly cares for each other. UGH :’)

day 11 - a ship you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving: tallie grey/wes chandar (wellies)

okay this is weird considering they’re one of my favorite couples now, LOL but i really didn’t see anything attractive in wellies at first. like, when they first started scening i barely skimmed it and was like “yeah, whatever, like THAT’LL ever happen” because they were in different years and houses and it seemed so unlikely. then i literally ate my words at the masquerade ball when i was addicted to reading them. i loved their witty verbal exchanges and how flirty they could be with each other and how that really added to the ~*build up*~ of when they finally kissed :’) so right afterwards i ran out and re-read every scene they’d done before that and i’ve basically been in love with them ever since. i can’t imagine NOT liking wellies now, they’re just wonderful <3

Day 30 – Whatever tickles your fancy: JOEL STANWOOD

Besides the fact that I SOMEHOW FORGOT TO INCLUDE HIM IN DAY 26 LSKAFLSAKJF, Joel is absolutely adorable. I love that he has his own sense of humor without being boisterous, and also how he’s not afraid to be himself or admit something personal to someone, such as admitting to Sadie that he likes her. He totally tickles my fancy! And just for the record, COLIN MORGAN FITS HIM LIKE WHOA. LIKE WHOA.
